Job Summary HR Coordinator will work closely with the HR Director support to the Human Resources Department. The HR Coordinator will partner with team members on a wide variety of HR administrative support functions. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. * Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by the date of hire to be considered for a position. An accommodation request will be considered.* Major Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide administrative support to the HR Dept. * Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and basic questions. * Assists with completing Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. * Assists with various HR programs audits. * Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks. * Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process. * Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR. * Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions. * Files documents into appropriate employee files. * Assists or prepares correspondence as requested. * Prepares new-employee files. * Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Must be able to maintain confidential information/records. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships, while working collaboratively with cross-functional business teams. * Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet short deadlines. * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Track record of successfully managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach. * Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback. * Professional attitude and positive work ethic. Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma plus 2-3 years HR experience or Bachelors Degree in HR or related field required. * Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
