Description:1st shift range - 7am-3:30pm or 9am-6:30pmMust HavesMust be able to understand prints, read drawings that has GD&T included, some experience with 5axis and experience with fixturing, CAM software, programming experienceResponsible for making small precision metal parts for various industries in our high technology machining operation. Primary objective will be operation of lathes and mills. Duties will include specifying and purchasing equipment, designing shop layout, arranging build out and set up. designing rapid turn workflows and executing precision machining jobs. General Duties-Responsibilities:-Plan machining by studying electronic data, work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces and machining parameters, interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)-Machine small parts consistent with medical devices (parts used for surgery), consumer electronics, and aerospace industry requirements. -Set up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three and four jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops and stock puchser, indicate vices, tram heads-Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs-Document actions by completing production and quality logs-Create CNC custom tool paths from customer supplied CAD files-Operate EDM to support finishing operations-Clean and maintain cnc edm machines (filter inspection and replacement, inspect and replenish di-electric fluid levels as needed)Skills:mill, lathe, cnc, programming, operate, bridgeport, edm, cad, 3d, tool, inspection, replace, inspect, drawings, tolerance, safetyTop Skills Details:mill,lathe,cnc,programming,operate,bridgeport,edm,cad,3d,tool,inspection,replace,inspect,drawings,tolerance,safetyAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Required Minimal Qualifications:-Able to learn advanced proprietary graphical CAD software-Able to work independently with minimal supervision-Proficient in basic mathematics-Able to work in fast paced, team oriented environment-Must be punctual and have good attendanceTappingEDMCAD DrawingsHAAS & ManualTool PathingOperate CNC and run programsTolerances +/- .003Experience Level:Entry Level About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
