Job Description:
North Carolina Physical Therapy is an outpatient clinic that
also provides in-home appointments to the Triangle community. We
are looking for 1-2 PTAs to join us as we continue to grow. We
specialize in Oncology Rehabilitation and Lymphedema Therapy, so we
see a variety of impairments (orthopedic, vestibular, neurologic,
cardiovascular), and a majority of our caseload is
lymphedema/vascular edema/lipedema. Because of that, we will
require the employees to become Certified Lymphedema Therapists
(CLT) after the probationary period.We are looking for individuals
that are:* great communicators and have a team approach towards
patient care* kind and respectful* patient and understanding* take
direction well and can also take initiative* have upstanding
character and integrityJob requirements include:* provides
excellent patient care, going above standard practice so patients
can maximize functional mobility and improve their quality of life*
performs appropriate therapeutic interventions in accordance with
the POC* educates the patient/caregiver of the
anatomy/physiology/pathophysiology of current presentation and
purpose of interventions* assists the DPT with the patient's
continuity of care* develops safe and effective home management
program for each patient* contributes to community resources and
provides outreach* stays up to date on current level of evidence by
attending continuing education courses and conferences, reading
journal articles, maintaining professional networks, and
participating in professional organizations* completes
documentation in a timely manner* participates in networking and
marketingNCPT provides 1-hour, 1-on-1 appointments, no double

schedule. This job will require some travel to patients' houses,
which will be compensated with a travel bonus. We encourage
