Job Description The Opportunity Seqirus is looking for a lead process engineer who will provide technical/engineering support for site GMP Building/Utilities. Responsibilities will include equipment/process troubleshooting and ongoing performance analysis to improve overall equipment reliability. Additional responsibilities will include design, procurement, installation and startup of systems to support capital projects. The role of Automation Utilities Engineer is to be the primary contact during any project execution on site for any tasks related to Building Automaton and Utilities design and coordination activities. The Automation Utilities Engineer will lead small CAPEX projects and daily activities. The Automation Utilities Engineer will also be the engineering responsible person for the implementation on site standards. This position description covers a Level I, however you can be considered for higher level depending on experience level according to our career framework. The Role Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the following areas: Building Automaton, Clean Utilities Black Utilities Troubleshoot complex equipment related issues and develops sound engineering solutions to address identified problems for assigned systems Work with internal manufacturing, QA, MS&T, validation, and EHS personnel to achieve project and production goals Engage with both internal maintenance personnel and external vendors for issue resolution Look for and implement performance and reliability improvements to positively improve production rates, efficiencies, and costs. Perform engineering tasks for the design, procurement, fabrication and commissioning associated with standard or custom Building Utilities. Plan the execution of startup and commissioning activities on assigned systems or areas. Help develop engineering best practices. Independently lead small engineering projects Manage change control to support complex engineering projects and leading teams. Equipment lead for (DR) investigations to adequately identify root cause and implement appropriate corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs) to prevent reoccurrence. Participate in site audits by health authorities or other regulatory agencies (e.g. OSHA) Deliver small CAPEX projects for new and modified utilities equipment by providing feasibility study, URS, Project plan, budget, project management, costs control, commissioning and documentation. Coordinate with the user team to ensure that the projects are according to the Seqirus utilities standard requirements. Responsible person in engineering for the establishment and deployment of an Energy program in the plant. Develop metrics and regular reports to wider audience. Create and maintain GMP documents like drawings (P&IDs, layout), procedures, standards, specifications. Energy savings evolutions. Your skills and experience BS Engineering or related field Minimum 1 years' experience in Building Automation engineering in Pharma Industry. Relevant co-op or internship experience can be considered. Direct experience with regulated environments (i.e. cGMP, OSHA, EPA) required Design experience or owners experience in process systems used in a biopharmaceutical or vaccine manufacturing process Established troubleshooting proficiency with complex, automated process systems Software: Primary System Siemens Insight and Desigo CC A Plus DeltaV/Rockwell knowledge Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K, and PTO available from your first day of hire.
