Job summary overview
Under the direction of the Senior Director of Business & Sports
Partnerships, this position will provide support across the
Business & Sports Partnerships department in areas of research and
pipeline development, prospect briefings and pitch decks,
partnerships KPI tracking and reporting and Salesforce database
As the Business & Sports Partnerships Coordinator you will:
Support team operational needs such as budget tracking, monthly
NPSP maintenance and reporting, partner/ambassador KPI tracking,
prospect research and pitch decks.
Manage Business and Sports Partnerships processes in Salesforce
NPSP to optimize prospecting/partnership pipeline, existing
partnership revenue tracking and Ambassador engagement.
Manage all revenue reporting and data analytics for the Business &
Sports Partnerships team for both partnership management and new
Assist, as needed, in the management and activation of existing
business & sports partners related to campaigns, events, peer to
peer fundraising, etc.
Support Business & Sports Development team in continually
researching and identifying partner prospects in priority
industries, key regional and local markets, and signature events,
developing research briefs and partnership pitches.
Track industry trends - nonprofit cancer organizations/corporate
giving/philanthropy/sports - to help inform business and sports
partnerships strategy, target prospects and drive revenue through
new cause and marketing programs and platforms.
1-2 years of experience working in a non-profit or public agency
with exposure to fundraising, sales, marketing, or advertising.
Strong computer skills required, specifically in Microsoft Office
applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and OneNote. Prior
experience with Salesforce desired.
Demonstrated ability and attention to detail related to composing,
preparing, and editing materials and presentations within
Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage effectively with professionals at all levels,
both internally and external to the organization.
Ability to organize work, prioritize, meet deadlines, and make
timely decisions with sound judgment.
