Meet our professionals CGI USA - Best version of me Position Description: The L3 Support Analyst will work with our project team to interact with users, analyze issues, and propose solutions. As part of the team, you will often be trusted to work independently on issues assigned. This position will support in scope applications. You will be responsible for Investigating application-related system and user requests and resolving or coordinating resolution of issues. Involved in developing new business requirements using ORACLE, UNIX and JAVA technologies. Responsible for all facets of Infrastructure, Vendor, Development & External teams on issues requiring deeper investigation, and then coordinate resolutions while providing feedback to users. Your future duties and responsibilities: Incident, Problem & Change Management Continual Service Management, Disaster Recovery Planning & Testing Application decommission task, including business data transfer to archive systems. Level 3 support could be required. Analysis of production issues if engaged by L2 team. Ensure MIS and workflow tools used e.g. JIRA and ServiceNow to track and demonstrate the overall quality of services. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: * Strong understanding of business language and business workflows is beneficial. * Experience managing and maintaining apps running on Unix based platforms and Oracle/ Sybase databases. * Good Oracle SQL/PLSQL skills to implement new enhancements and issue fixing. * Good Unix skills including shell scripting. * Good Core JAVA skills to analyze application code and deploy fixes and small changes. * Pearl scripting knowledge is an added advantage. * JIRA and ServiceNow * Strong analytical and technical background with good problem-solving skills. CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $74,600 - 143,700.
