investing more than $2 billion into establishing a new -large-scale
manufacturing site for biopharmaceuticals in the United States to
accelerate the growth of our Bio CDMO (Contract and Development
Manufacturing Organization) business. This will be the largest
end-to-end cell culture CDMO provider in North America. The new
site will offer end-to-end solutions -to our customers looking to
manufacture biopharmaceuticals in the US. In addition to drug
substance manufacture, it will also -provide -automated fill-finish
and assembly, packaging, and labeling services. The new
state-of-the-art facility is located in Holly Springs, North
Carolina, United States.

We are looking for bright, enthusiastic students and recent
graduates to join our summer internship program in Holly Springs. -
This is a truly unique opportunity to see what goes into creating
and shaping the future of our site. - Interns will work on-site in
Holly Springs for up to 40 hours per week and will have the
opportunity to interact with and learn from some of the most
talented, experienced leaders in the industry. The -Quality
Assurance -internship is designed to provide a supportive,
collaborative teaching environment for successful candidates who
are in their sophomore year or higher. - -The Intern will work in
direct contact with the Quality staff to provide support on ongoing
projects as well as daily activities. - Responsibilities:
- Work closely to support the department in development and
implementation of processes
- Conduct research, ask questions, gather, and analyze data
- Prepare and/or review documents, reports and/or
presentations
- Work closely with supervisor to determine internship project
and achieve project goals
- Final presentation of assigned project at the conclusion of the
internship
- Search for opportunities for continuous improvement
- Interact with department, cross-functional groups, and senior
leadership
- Attend social and professional networking events
- Training on relevant systems and responsibility for data entry
as needed
- Work with cross-functional teams as needed to complete assigned
tasks
- Assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures,
Impact Assessments, Risk Assessments, and Reports if requested
- Comply with GMP documentation requirements if required
Requirements:
- Should be currently enrolled in an accredited university or
college or have graduated within the past six months (STEM or Life
Sciences field of study). Must have completed at least one
semester.
- Ability to work on-site in Holly Springs up to 40 hours per
week
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management
skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional oral and written communication skills and an
ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong digital skills with regards to data management
- Proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel and
Word
- Self-driven, capable of working independently
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to
detail
- Effective analytical and interpersonal skills for a
collaborative team environment
- Flexible approach and ability to handle multiple workstreams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous biotech/pharma or IT related experience preferred.
FDBN works with technical data, technology and materials that are

not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations at 22
