Job Title: Postgres DBA
Location: Cary, NC (Hybrid)
Job Type: FTE
Job Description:
DB is currently migrating from on-premises Oracle to GCP Cloud Sql
(PostgreSQL). We would be interested in a PostgreSQL expert who
would be responsible for:
Reviewing and amending the current configuration to follow industry
best practices
Facilitating and analysing load/stress tests and performance
tuning
Documenting best practices and problems encountered
Required skills:
PostgreSQL expertise, especially performance tuning
Oracle to PostgreSQL migration experience
Some cloud experience (GCP in particular) is a big plus
