We are looking for bright, enthusiastic students and recent graduates to join our summer internship program in Holly Springs. - This is a truly unique opportunity to see what goes into creating and shaping the future of our site. - Interns will work on-site in Holly Springs for up to 40 hours per week and will have the opportunity to interact with and learn from some of the most talented, experienced leaders in the industry.This P&ID Intern will report to the Project Manager of the Lab/Admin building and will be charged with creating new P&IDs using CAD software. - The P&IDs will be developed using system descriptions and 3D models. - The level of detail will be such that maintenance and support personnel can easily use the P&IDs for system line-ups, lock out/tag out, etc. - Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with SMEs and Project Managers to develop P&IDs based on 3D models and system descriptions
  • Conduct research, ask questions, gather, and analyze data to support creation of the P&IDs
  • Prepare and/or review documents, reports and/or presentations
  • Work closely with supervisor to determine internship project and achieve project goals
  • Final presentation of assigned project at the conclusion of the internship
  • Search for opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Interact with department, cross-functional groups, and senior leadership
  • Attend social and professional networking eventsRequirements:
    • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
    • Ability to work on-site in Holly Springs up to 40 hours per week
    • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Professional oral and written communication skills and an ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
    • Ability to work well in a team environment
    • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively with little supervision when needed.
    • Ability to work effectively under extreme pressure to meet deadlines.
    • Well organized and detail oriented with ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously.
    • Desire to work in a fast paced, state of the art, alternately research and customized manufacturing facility.
    • Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
    • Working knowledge of AutoCad2018
