Role PurposeChief technologist is a client-facing role, responsible for the development of the overall vision and working as a key conduit between Wipro & Customer to ensure the organization's IT strategy is aligned with its business goals. This role works with the Practices to transform that vision into a solution that can be implemented and achieves the client's expected outcomes.Key Prerequisites

• Excellent communication skills and customer management skills.
• Ability to deliver architectural initiatives in the space of digital, cloud, and open-source technologies with a working knowledge of Infrastructure. Should have performed a similar role & capacity for large transformational engagements.
• Experience working with CXO teams and enterprise-wide initiatives in an advisory role.
• Experience in driving cloud transformation initiatives.
• Experience in defining the IT strategy and roadmap.
• Experience across all architectural layers, including UI/UX, AI, Gen AI, Services in Java/.NET, Integration, Data, Security, Infrastructure Services.
• Experience in RFI/RFP, providing solutions for complex, multi-million transformational initiatives.
• Experience in shaping opportunities and providing technology-based solutions for these opportunities.
• Experience performing discovery and assessment of customers' overall portfolio, IT and business priorities, and customer insights to create a technology roadmap.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team and with various stakeholders, working closely with the sales team to guide and evangelize patterns to help navigate the customer ecosystem.
• Ability to mentor and groom technologists in strategic accounts and align them towards a strategic technology roadmap for customers.
• Ability to work through partner and startup ecosystems to bring in innovative solutions to customers as part of innovation and technology councils.Roles & Responsibilities
• Accountable for activities around solution ideation and solution design.
• Understand business context and challenges to define the vision and requirements for the solution. Recommend potential options, selecting the most optimal option (across RFI/RFP and proactive pursuits).
• Co-create with the client and communicate how Wipro's solution achieves the client's desired outcomes.
• Develop a roadmap for the preferred solution, including the bottom-up estimation of delivery requirements and cost.
• Detail appropriate solution, upgrades, replacements, integration, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
• Incorporate alliance partner solutions, acquired entity solutions, assets/tools/IPs in the solution to bring 'best of Wipro' to the design.
• Communicate the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborate and coordinate with architects from other practices and DTAs (for multi-tower deals).
• Ensure the solution is not only fit for the specific purpose but also adheres to standards and guidelines of the practice solutions.
• If scope/top-down pricing changes, proactively adjust and modify the solution.Desired Capabilities/Skillsets: 15-20 years of experience with strong technical and domain knowledge of particular industries such as Banking.
