You play a key role in the Kellogg Digital Smart Factory manufacturing team by driving overall plant initiatives to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and delivering cost savings through building capability in KWS (Kellogg Work Systems) methodologies, systems, and tools. Based in one of our progressive manufacturing facilities, you will be helping in the creation of continuous improvement initiatives that engage the teams, while focusing on leadership, safety, quality and overall operational excellence. HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOULL BE DOINGDeveloping Processes & Continuous Improvement Deploying KWS strategic methodologies, systems, and tools, such as Process Optimization, Autonomous Maintenance, Reliability Maintenance, Problem Solving, and Process Mapping to deliver site OEE and cost savings goals. You will use your demonstrated experience leading problem solving sessions (DMAIC, APS), facilitating multifunctional teams to eliminate issues. Strategize to Win Continually collaborating with hourly personnel and supervisors within Line Centric teams to identify and troubleshoot chronic and sporadic losses through data analysisCost Savings Leading cost savings projects with Line Centric team to eliminate scrap and waste to maximize yieldData Analysis Looking at improving manufacturing productivity through Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Reliability Improvement Projects, and Source of Loss leading to tangible progress in taking a loss and eliminating the loss Data Cleansing and Harmonization Kellogg plants have a dynamic array of data sources which must be retrieved, combined, and sometimes cleansed in order to drive value. Efficient management of data will enable speed to action and unlock the capabilities of plant operations.Analysis, Insight Generation, and Visualization Critical to our success will be the ability to create data driven insights. Become a leader in our analytics journey by analyzing and visualizing a variety of data that enables better decisions and faster actions. YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS Required Bachelors degree Industrial Engineering or other related fieldStrong background in statistical methods (statistical process control, process capability, analysis of variance) and process mappingAdvanced Excel skills and experience generating insights using dataManufacturing experience in the CPG IndustryProven experience leading continuous improvement projects (Lean, TPM, KWS, IWS, HPO) Bonus PointsProjects will be split between Continuous Improvement Lead for Line Centric Teams with Data AnalyticsExperience with Tableau or other dedicated visualization software packageSQL programming skills and ability to retrieve, merge, understand, and interpret data from numerous sourcesExperience with OSI/PIProgramming background WHATS NEXTIts best to apply today, because job postings can be taken down and we wouldnt want you to miss this opportunity.
