We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to work in Cary, North Carolina. This position will partner with Product Supply, Customer Service, Transportation, Distribution Safety, Contract Manufacturing, and Accounting. You will interact regularly with our client's ICS and Internal Audit team members as well as External Auditors. This is a hybrid position that will require the selected candidate to work onsite 2 days/week. Local candidates are preferred.

Qualifications:

+ BA/BS 4+ years or MBS/MS 0-3+ years or PhD 0 years or 10-12 years applicable business experience

+ Knowledge of WMS, inventory control, and reconciliation processes

+ Microsoft Office Applications

+ Established knowledge and experience in warehousing and transportation

+ Ability to prioritize and adjust to a frequently changing environment.

+ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred not required)

salary: $25 - $28 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelor

Responsibilities

+ Manages and monitors inventory accuracy to maintain levels of not less than 99% at all public warehouses and 98% contract formulators/ processors.

+ Ensures that book to book or cycle counts are performed and reconciled at each site monthly and that a physical count is performed and reconciled at least annually.

+ Ensure that 3rd party warehouses follow product quality best practices of FEFO, separation of damaged /compromised products from good stocks, and report all such damages immediately.

+ Responsible to maintain current 3rd party warehouse contracts, receive and audit warehouse invoices for accuracy and adherence to contracted rates and submit for payment in a timely manner.

+ Responsible to maintain compliance with BCS policies and procedures within the scope of this function and monitor the performance of public warehouses using department established key performance indicators (KPI's).
