Overview:
JOB PURPOSE:Responsible for supporting the administration and implementation of the company's benefits programs. - Serves as benefits primary point of contact for internal clients and external partners. - Leads the open enrollment process including system set up and maintenance. -

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: -Benefits Administration and ImplementationResponsible for administering day to day operations of employee benefit programs including health, disability, life, flexible spending account plans, health savings account plans, 401k and other programs offered to the employees of Affordable CareServes as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators in the administration of the benefit plansMonitors program compliance in accordance with established processes, procedures and controls and all applicable laws and regulationsLeads open enrollment process, working with external vendor partners and broker/consultant in setting up the system, preparing communications and engaging employeesWorks with external vendor to ensure efficient administration of COBRA program; handles file feeds and resolves issues as necessaryEnsures file feeds and benefit enrollments are communicated to vendors efficiently and effectively; reviews and corrects enrollment errors on file feeds and monthly billingAssists with administration of Affordable Care Act preparation and submission requirements, including tracking of variable hourly workforce and related requirementsAdministers all leave of absences for the company, advises management and employees on leave of absence options and impact to pay and benefitsReviews and assists with decisions related to workplace accommodationsResolves day-to-day questions and issues surrounding benefits, leave, and other compensation and benefits questionsProcesses billing for all benefit plans; supports benefits budget monitoring and update activities with Finance

Qualifications:
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in HR related fieldThree to five years of experience administering benefits programsProficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Etc. -GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting compensation and benefit programs including IRC, COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers compensation, Social Security and DOL requirementsMust be able to research and handle confidential information in a discretionary fashionKnowledge of plan documents and administrative procedures to ensure compliance within federal and state regulationsStrong background administering FMLA, leave of absence, temporary disability, COBRA and 401kStrong written and verbal communications skills requiredExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsExcellent technical skills with working knowledge and understanding of HRIS systems; compensation and benefits administration systemsKnowledge and ability to research updates surrounding benefits and compensationAttention to detail to ensure accuracy and integrity of personal and company dataWork Style: has a high bias for action, is highly organized, and able to focus on results even within a fluid working environment#ACI
