The role reports to the Compensation Manager and will be located in Cary, NC. As a Compensation Analyst, you will be supporting the Human Resources (HR) function in the implementation and delivery of compensation programs and processes within a shared service environment at ABB.

Your responsibilities

Supports execution of annual merit and short-term incentive processes.
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure data and system readiness to deliver such processes.
Develop compensation metrics, reports, and tools to inform compensation program decisions and analyze business outcomes.
Perform periodic analyses to maintain the integrity and compliance of compensation programs.
Ensure compensation data is maintained correctly in ABB systems.
Partner with HR Business Partners to provide appropriate guidance regarding pay processes and the interpretation of policies and guidelines.
Participate in annual compensation surveys.
Create materials to effectively communicate compensation programs, policies and practices to employees and leaders.
Periodically supports compensation additional analyses to ensure compensation competitiveness in the job market.
Support additional administration such as service tickets, ESAP, Tango..

Your background

Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation OR;
Masters Degree and minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation.
Excellent analytical and mathematics skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including advanced Excel skills Significant experience working with HR technology, data and reporting.
Familiar with current concepts, laws and practices in compensation administration.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Must be results oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience with Hay job evaluation methodology would be a plus.
Experience with Workday would be a plus
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
