The Construction Estimator - Account Manager (EAM) is responsible for developing continuity throughout the job life cycle including scoping, sketching, job estimation and customer relations. Highly qualified candidates will be well versed in Xactimate, Symbility and DASH software and have prior experience producing accurate and well-organized estimates and thorough sketch for water, fire, smoke, and natural disaster insurance claims in the residential and commercial restoration industry. In addition, have a positive attitude, demonstrated leadership skills, and be organized, motivated, detail oriented, customer focused and a problem solver. The position may require working after hours/on-call beyond your normal workday. This may mean nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Overall Responsibilities: Professionally represent the company's Purpose and Core Values Assess property damage as necessary to generate accurate, thorough, and well-organized estimates utilizing Xactimate and other industry specific estimate software Confirm all estimates produced are honest/ethical and based on insurance requirements and industry standards. Ensure customer and insurance representative receive estimates in a timely manner Ensure that company SOP's are adhered to, including accurate and timely estimate submissions, communications and job notations in DASH Make certain that any necessary estimate revisions are completed within designated timeframe Maintain quarterly sales levels and profit margins that meet or exceed established goals Professionally and timely communicate with and disseminate information to project managers, coworkers, customers, insurance adjusters and agents throughout the project life cycle Oversee quality of job scopes to ensure excellent customer service Maintain current knowledge of insurance carrier protocol and build relationships with insurance adjusters and agents

Physical Demands: Medium Work- Exerting up to 50lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently or up to 10lbs of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. In addition: Standing - For sustained periods of time Walking - Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. Climbing - Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Balancing - Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling. Stooping - Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. Kneeling - Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees. Crouching - Bending body downward and forward by bending leg and spine. Crawling - Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet. Fingering - Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand as in handling. Repetitive Motion - Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Grasping - Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm. Talking - Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to others accurately and quickly when necessary. Hearing - Receiving detailed information through oral communication at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Vision - Close visual acuity to perform activities such as; preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer monitor, and reading with or without correction. Vision - Visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and determine the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work performed with or without correction.

Work environment: Generally, works is performed at various jobsites as necessary to supervise safety and quality of work being performed. Sometime being in an office environment is required to complete paperwork. Activities occur inside and outside and subject to: Weather and temperature changes. Noise Hazards such as moving vehicles, proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, high places, high heat, and exposure to chemicals. Atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation Close quarters: crawl spaces, small enclosed rooms, attics, etc.

Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management, Business or similar preferred 5+ years' experience in residential insurance restoration estimating/project management involving water, fire, smoke, and natural disasters Proficiency in Xactimate creating detailed, thorough and well-organized estimates Experience with DASH Software a PLUS Proven business management experience including data analysis, strong math skills, critical thinking, decision making, and advanced knowledge and technical skills related to the construction industry Intermediate Microsoft Office user; Excel, Word, and Outlook Effective organizational, stress and time management skills; proven ability to multi-task Excellent communication skills with people from all walks of life Excellent customer service skills Professional appearance and demeanor Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable Ability to work after hours/on-call on as needed
