TARGAN's headquarters is centrally located in the
Raleigh/Durham/RTP area.
Position Summary:
The ideal associate will possess leadership abilities, promote
safety, and demonstrate teamwork. The Materials Handler supports
production and operations and is responsible for freight loading,
unloading, and stocking. Additionally, Materials Handlers are
integral components of ensuring inventory accuracy through cycle
counting and location maintenance.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving of warehouse items
Transporting materials to different locations within the
facility
Receives product from outside vendors, verifies counts, and enters
into system
Communicate the delivery of high priority inventory to the team
Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use
inspections
Inventory cycle counts and physical inventory counts
Keep inventory and warehouse clean
Interact with drivers/vendors daily
Follow safety/company regulations on forklift/equipment
Pulling and organizing material for use by production teams
Kitting components and subassemblies for shop floor use
Other duties as needed to support the production and operations
teams

Requirements:
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
1 year warehouse experience preferred
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Prior forklift experience in a manufacturing environment is highly
preferred
Forklift certification preferred
Organized, detail oriented, and self starter
Excellent time management skills
Basic computer skills (Inventory Management Systems, ERP, Microsoft
excel)
Familiarity with standard practices in Shipping/Receiving
environment highly preferred
Detail-oriented, ability to balance speed with accuracy
Always on time and great attendance record
Possesses leadership abilities and demonstrates teamwork
Working Environment & Physical Demands:
The characteristics described below are representative of those
encountered while performing the essential functions of this

This position will be subject to mostly controlled but potential
varying internal environmental conditions, including changes in
temperature and noise that are within acceptable safety levels
common to a warehouse environment.
Work may involve long-term standing, sitting and frequent walking
throughout areas such as warehouse, assembly or machine shop as
well as navigating common hazards related to these areas.
Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 30 pounds
frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Must have the ability to see, hear, talk, climb, balance, stoop,
kneel and twist, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, sit, stand, and
walk.
Weekend and overtime work may be required.
Additional physical duties may be required as necessary.
