We're currently seeking an experienced SAP Developer for our Integrations from SAP to other applicationsIn this role, you will be responsible to define quality gates for all, execute the code review and advise internal and external on best practice solutions. For our existing interfaces you ensure day by day business operations, define monitoring with our AMS partner and incident resolution of our interfaces in our SAP environment (SAP Netweaver PO and CPI). Define and implement new interfaces utilizing SAP technology (CPI, BTP Platform with IDOC, BAPI, RFC, EDIFACT, Webservice, SOAP, REST, OData and others) in alignment with the functional and process experts respecting actual technology.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• You will implement application integration projects with SAP Netweaver PO and CPI
• You will coordinate the implementation of requirements and support the consulting of the business units
• You will work with the team to conceptualize, design and implement interfaces and integration architectures
• As part of the team, you will continuously develop the integration architecture and strategy, considering future technology trends (use of the SAP Cloud Connector, API management, EDI, ABAP Cloud, Restful ABAP programing model, Git-enabled Change and Transport System (gCTS), etc.)
• You will implement the technical implementation with data and process modeling, structure and value mapping, and configuration of the interface and integration scenarios
• You supervise the ongoing interface operation in 2nd and 3rd level support and ensure a stable and performant operation of the integration scenarios
• Define development guidelines and execute quality reviews of the delivered developments. Write and review technical designs, leverage new ways of coding in SAP, like using CDS views, AMDPs, HANA stored procedures, Restful ABAP Programming Model, advanced OOPs, etc

  • Degree in Computer Science / Information systems or related discipline.Experience and Qualifications
    • 3 plus years' experience in a position of equal scope and responsibility
    • You have several years of practical experience in SAP Netweaver PI/PO Technology
    • You have at least basic knowledge and experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration / SAP BTP Integration Suite
    • You have experience in ABAP development, with S/4 HANA is a plus
    • Hands-on programming experience with SAP ABAP RICEFW objects, OData/SOAP web services, CDS views, HANA stored procedures, AMDP, Restful ABAP programming, side-by-side extensibility, and other SAP modern technologies
    • You have good knowledge in the connection of Netweaver PO/CPI to SAP ABAP systems
    • You have an understanding of Interface technologies (IDOC, BAPI, RFC, EDIFACT, Webservice, SOAP, REST, OData and others) as well as basic knowledge in Java J2EE, Groovy, Postman and XSLT
    • Very good knowledge in English and ideally in German
    • Expertise in pharmaceutical or medical device industries preferred, knowledge of validationSkills
      • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and workload planning skills
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to develop and visually present ideas and concepts to both IT and business stakeholders
      • Customer focus and service management attitude with a problem-solving attitude
      • Team-oriented collaboration and good communication and presentation skills
