Position Overview:

We are seeking a mid-level professional with a robust background in quality and logistics. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and logical reasoning abilities to effectively review and manage defective products delivered by vendors. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager for projects based in Lexington, NC.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage and track non-conforming materials through the MRB process.
  • Work closely with teams such as Engineering, Supplier Quality, Order Management, and Warehouse to resolve issues and prioritize tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of MRB decisions and actions taken.
  • Provide status updates on open MRB items and ensure timely closure.
  • Identify Quality Notifications that are not progressing through our system and help expedite their resolution.
  • Understand how materials flow through the factory, including receiving, picking, put-away, work orders, and shipping.
  • Evaluate ERP systems (SAP) for inventory and address QN dispositions accordingly.
    To thrive in this role, you have:
    • 3+ years of experience in a quality inspection, logistics, or warehouse role.
    • 1+ years of SAP experience preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree or associate degree preferred.
    • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
    • Proven ability to systematically resolve issues with a solution-oriented approach.
    • Experience with inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The base salary range for this position in Lexington, NC is $62,800 - $74,000. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
