HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Prioritizing Processes - You will be responsible for complying with employee safety policies, GMP, OSHA Safety and Health rules as well as food safety policies and procedures. Monitor all safety rules and regulation; communicate any concerns or issues to Shift Supervisor/Manager who will enforce. Organization & Sanitation - You will be maintaining cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and production floor in accordance with GMP's, plant policies, processes and procedures. Maintain a high sanitation level and monitor for cross contamination Collaborating with the Team - You will be building relationships with your assigned line personnel and management staff. You will also be working with Maintenance Planners to scope upcoming planned work. You will be responsible for assisting in performing repairs and rebuilds of machinery and subassemblies Technical Aptitude - You will need to have technical knowledge of equipment to make adjustments and improvements as appropriate YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS Required: Must have a strong technical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools in making mechanical repairs and adjustments Must have a general knowledge of machinery maintenance and lubrication techniques Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across all departments and levels of management. Must have strong mechanical skills Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must provide personal tools/toolbox Must be willing to work overtime as required Bonus Points: Previous experience in Food Manufacturing Experience in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems Previous welding experience Previous machine shop experience working with lathes, milling machines, drill press, etc. Must be able to meet all required Mechanical Learnings within a 2 year period WHAT'S NEXT It's best to apply today, because job postings can be taken down and we wouldn't want you to miss this opportunity.
